Eastern Shore

We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer and Christopher on their big day back in April.  I swear April is becoming the new May because we were crazy busy this year and our 2012 April is booking really fast!   We were lucky not to get those infamous April showers because it was in the forecast.  Jennifer and Christopher were able to have their dream wedding on the lawn of the gorgeous Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay.  Of course the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay has all the Easter Shore photo ops you could ever imagine ... fantastic water views, a romantic beach and the most perfect oak tree perched up on a hill overlooking the choptank river.  However, lets not forget the hidden gems in the hotel itself!  The raven's nest architecture is grand and modern (perfect place for a reveal if the couple is going to see each other before the ceremony),  an indoor waterfall near the spa and this funky but romatinc hallway right behind the bar which has orange tinted lighting and cool flooring!  Can you tell we love working at the Hyatt in Cambridge!!!  Props go out to Rentals to Remember for making the ballroom look even more amazing and My Deejays for keeping the dance floor moving! 

This was one of my favorite weddings of all times ! What an amazing event with two great families. On my way over the Bay Bridge to the family's waterfront home in Stevensville , I noticed a large white mass on the shore that I never noticed before.The closer I got to the mass I figured out what it was.... a huge tent and I mean circus tent huge .It was as tall as a two story building and much needed for the 560  guests.The reception was located on the family's soy bean farm on the Eastern Shore and had expansive views of the bay.We started off our pre bridal photography here and Nicole looked gorgeous in her dress from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York ( where "Say Yes To The Dress " is filmed ) .After a gorgeous ceremony at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Riva , we headed back to the farm for one terrific party.The flowers were done by Colonial Florist from Annapolis and they were stunning. The blue flowers on some of the the tables , were glowing due to the sun bleeding through them , wow.The food was over the top good and was mostly Greek.Chris's Charcoal Pit helped with a bunch of the food , but the families really prepared most of the entrees.Nick's mom did the sausage and Cheryl and her son ( and sons friends ) took on most everything else.The event had two bands, one Greek , one not and their was a packed dance floor all night.Father of the bride , Nick Kallis was on the floor all night and was one happy man.It was pleasure to be around him and you can tell why everyone loves this guy.What a card ! But their was definitely a lot of love at this wedding . By the end of the night all of the people helping with the catering were on the dance floor, all the guests and just one big happy family event.I just want to thank Nicole And Nick for having us be a part of such a fun event and let us know when the next family party happens, we'll be there.

Merri and Ryan got married!  They got married on the hottest day of the summer but that didn't stop them from enjoying the day!   It was one of our favorite weddings because it included so many of our favorite spots in and around Annapolis.   We started with pre-ceremony photos at the Loews Hotel and then headed to the ceremony at St. Mary's in historic downtown Annapolis.  Wow, do I love that church and it is not because I am parishioner there.  It is because it is such a gorgeous church with the star painted ceilings, elaborate alter and grand columns!  After the ceremony, Merri and Ryan wanted to have some fun in downtown Annapolis so we hit the dock and did some side streets as well.  After we all had enough heat, we got in our cool cars and headed over the bay bridge to another one of our favorite spots...The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.  As always, the CBBC staff rocked it out.  The room looked gorgeous and nothing missed a beat.  We were grateful for the beautiful sunset and made sure to capture a few romantic shots for Merri and Ryan to remember.  Beautiful couple and a beautiful day!

Katy and Matthew's wedding was truly a Chesapeake Bay wedding with events on both sides of the bay. We started off at Katy's parents' home in Grasonville and got some stunning photos on the dock across from their house. As we were finishing the photography with the expansive bay as the background, a jet ski went by and he waved. It was one of the family friends zooming home to get dressed for the event. Then we were off to the other side of the bay for the ceremony, and the beautiful reception at Celebrations at the Bay. This facility has amazing views of the Chesapeake Bay and of course a great dock for more photography. The crew is so helpful and friendly everyone feels welcomed. Katy and Matthew enjoyed the evening with their friends and family and the reception went bumping into the night.
